CAPITALS AND SHELL SHOCKERS WILL PLAY AGAIN THIS SATURDAY

May 27, 29008 - For the second game in a row the Baton Rouge Capitals will battle the New Orleans Shockers.

The last time (two weeks ago on May 18) the rivals from New Orleans finished on top 1-0. The players and staff from Baton Rouge feel that was not the team that should have prevailed. Now they have a chance to prove their point.

The rematch will take place this Saturday, May 31st at 7:00 pm at Olympia Stadium. This promises to be a full event on and off the field. This will be a Baton Rouge Soccer Association Game Day: any child wearing a BRSA or BRSC jersey will get in 2 for the price of 1. So for $5, 2 kids get into the game against the intra-state rival. Also, prior to the game, there will be FREE BarBQ at Perkins Road Park, sponsored by BRSA.

Coming off a weekend with no games, the Capitals are refreshed and energized and promise the fans an all out effort.
