CAPITALS PLAY WELL BUT FAIL TO SCORE

The Baton Rouge Capitals took 24 shots on Saturday night when they hosted the Dallas FW Tornados. Nevertheless, getting a goal proved to be an elusive task.

The game started late after a 1 hour delay due to lightning. The 350+ in attendance were rewarded for staying around with a great display from the home team. There were great shots, great saves by the Dallas keeper, and many goals missed. Till the last minute of play the Capitals took charge and when the keeper or crossbar did not hold them, a miscalculated shot was to be blamed.

Now the Capitals will play Dallas again next Saturday in Texas. The game will have the return of Leonardo de Barros, and Frank Judice who missed the match last night due to cards.
