VICTORY ON THE ROAD STILL TO COME

It was not this time that the Capitals earned the first away victory. On Saturday night the Baton Rouge team faced the Austin Aztex in front of 960 expectators.

It was a windy evening but both teams seemed to adjust well. Despite creating several chances to score, the Capitals took a 2-0 deficit to the locker room at half time. The second half was well fought and in the dying minutes, the Aztex put the ensuring goal and finished 3-0 up. Although the Capitals continue to play well, they cannot translate their quality of play into goals.

The Capitals now will have the week to re-calibrate their finishing prior to traveling to Houston on the 4th of July. Kick off will be at 6:00 pm at the Soccer Center in Houston, TX.
