FACING THE CHALLENGE HEAD ON

The Baton Rouge Capitals have proven that they are tough to beat at home. Boasting a 4-1-1 record (among the best in the PDL), it has been a different story on the road. The Capitals have yet to find a victory away from home. On Friday, July 4th they will face the challenge once again with all the power they can muster. The date will be with the Houston Leones at the Soccer Center in Houston, TX (kick off at 6:00 pm).

"The truth is that we have had one bad game only in this journey" - says Head Coach Helio D'Anna. "We left every game with our heads high and with a sense of relieve from our opponents. All we need now is to find a goal and break through this negative momentum that going scoreless for a little while leaves."

On Friday the Capitals will have their offensive weapons, including Tony Judice (4 goals, 2 assists), Leo de Barros (3 goals, 1 assist), Gino Ray (2 goals), as well as Lucas Almeida (1 goal), and Ricardo Santos (1 goal). Along with the rest of the team, on their shoulders rests the challenge to rise above the good Houston team.
