The stats say it all: two matches in three days, six points, five goals including two penalties; Capitals remain unbeaten after ten games this season; while Ben Callon takes his goal tally to eight this season.
Not a bad record for a team which was completely rebuilt during the off-

That Baton Rouge Capitals stayed unbeaten after winning both games on the road last weekend is further testimony to young coach Stuart Hayers, who has forged a determined team of skilful individuals which plays for each other and plays to its strengths.
The first game at Fort Lauderdale Schulz Academy, themselves struggling this season with only one point from their campaign to date, began in unfamiliar territory for both teams: Fort Lauderdale taking the lead. This is the first time this season that Capitals have found themselves behind in a match, despite an early effort from Ben Callon being chalked off for offside.
However, Caps didn't panic and continued to dominate play in midfield and their patience paid off when Josey Portillo centered from the left for Mark Anderson to steer a header past the keeper for the equalizer. Only ten minutes late a powerful shot from Joe Tait outside the box stung the keeper’s hands and the ball fell into the path of Ben Callon who tapped it in for a deserved lead.
The icing on the cake came ten minutes from time, when Ricky Vargas powered into the penalty area only to be brought down. Ben Callon stepped up and hammered the ball home from the spot for a decisive victory.
Two days later, and Central Florida Kraze was next up, after watching the World Cup festivities the day before and an enjoyable day on the beach for the lads.
Kraze came out of the traps and set out to capitalize on their extra day off. As
the game settled down, both teams headed off at half time disappointed with their
play which had produced nothing for either side. After half-
Ben Callon was introduced from the bench following the goal and Capitals continued
to push. Central Florida Kraze were awarded an indirect free kick inside the box
for a back-
From the clearance, Callon found Connor Randall who was manhandled in the area by
a Kraze defender to concede a penalty in the final minute. Capitals’ leading goalscorer
Ben Callon calmly stepped up to make the result a formality from the penalty spot
with his eighth goal of the season and seal six points from the Capitals’ Florida
road-
