Former New Orleans defender becomes driving force at Baton Rouge Capitals
Former New Orleans defender Stuart Hayers has joined Baton Rouge Capitals as head coach and player.
Hayers played at PDL franchise New Orleans Shell Shockers alongside new Capitals GM Ben Callon two years ago and joins the Capitals with stellar credentials, having played under some of the best domestic and foreign coaches in the world at this level.

Capitals’ General Manager Ben Callon added, “We are already in the process of recruiting a great blend of local and foreign talent, experience and youthful exuberance, raw athletes and soccer brains and we are actively seeking players that will complement this unique blend.
“Stuart is a young coach who has worked and played for some of the best coaches in the business and he can quickly establish himself as a driving force behind the Capitals."
Baton Rouge Capitals will be holding two tryout dates, in early March and early April.
